Terms of Service

Last updated 1 September 2026

1. Who we are

1440 Bible is operated by Intentionally Formed LLC (“we”, “us”). You can reach us any time at AvidanSmith@IntentionallyFormed.com. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these terms.

2. What the service does

We provide study tools built on the King James Bible: the text itself, Hebrew and Greek word study, topical search, reflection questions, and a sermon study tool that attaches Scripture to notes you write yourself.

The sermon tool does not write, rewrite or finish your sermon. It reads the notes you supply and points you to King James passages, in context, that bear on what you already wrote. Everything it returns is a study aid. You are responsible for what you teach, preach or publish, and you should verify every passage yourself before using it.

3. Your account

You may create an account with an email address and password, or by signing in with Google. You must be at least 13 years old. Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe it has been used without your permission.

4. Free and Plus memberships

The free tier includes access to the core 1440 Bible study experience, along with 5 guided research questions, 2 My Sermon creations and 2 Scripture Resources each month, and up to 10 saved studies and 3 saved sermons.

1440 Bible Plus costs $20 per month or $200 per year and includes 50 guided research questions each month, unlimited My Sermon creations and unlimited Scripture Resources, and up to 200 saved studies and 104 saved sermons while the subscription is active. Extra guided research questions can be bought on either plan. Billing is handled by Stripe, we never see or store your card details. Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel.

You may cancel at any time from your account. Cancellation stops future charges and your Plus access continues until the end of the period you already paid for. Because the service is delivered immediately and usage-based, payments already made are generally non-refundable, but if something has gone wrong, email us and we will make it right.

We may change pricing with at least 30 days’ notice by email. Continuing your subscription after that notice means you accept the new price.

5. Communications

By creating an account you agree that we may email you about your account, membership and billing, and that we may send onboarding, reminder and product update emails about the service, for example a welcome series when you join, a nudge to pick your reading back up, and notes about new study features.

Those optional emails can be stopped at any time using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any such email, or from your preferences page. Essential account, security and billing emails continue for as long as you have an account, since they are part of running the service.

6. AI generated results

Features that produce results for you, including Questions research, chapter reflection questions, study guide generation, note organising and the sermon Scripture matching, are generated using AI. The AI selects, matches and summarises King James passages; it does not replace your own study.

We design these tools to refuse rather than invent, so when the text does not support a claim the result says so. Even so, automated results can be incomplete or mistaken. Every passage is shown with its King James text so you can check it, and you remain responsible for verifying anything you teach, preach or publish.

7. Your content

Your sermon notes, study guides and saved chapters belong to you. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store your content and process it to return Scripture matches to you. We do not sell it, publish it, or use it to train third-party AI models. You can delete individual sermons, or your whole account, at any time.

8. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break, overload, scrape at scale, or gain unauthorised access to the service; do not resell access to your account; and do not upload unlawful content. We may suspend accounts that do these things.

9. Scripture and sources

The King James text is in the public domain. Lexical, morphological and cross-reference data comes from openly licensed scholarly datasets. Interpretive material, including pictographic readings of Hebrew letters, is labelled as interpretive tradition and is not presented as settled fact.

10. Availability and disclaimer

The service is provided “as is”. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and automated results may be incomplete. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

11. Affiliate & referral program

Plus members may join our referral program. Using the program, including generating a referral link, sharing it, or accepting a payout, means you accept the terms in this section.

Commission. You earn 20% of the amount actually paid to us, net of refunds, chargebacks and processing adjustments, for each qualifying payment made by a member who joined through your referral link, for as long as that membership stays active and paid. Self-referrals, referrals of accounts you control, and referrals obtained through spam, paid search on our brand names, misleading claims, coupon or cashback sites, or any unlawful means do not qualify and may result in removal from the program.

$10 minimum payout threshold. Commissions accrue in your account as a pending balance. A payout is only issued once your pending balance reaches US $10.00 or more at the time of a scheduled payout run. Balances below $10.00 are not paid out; they simply roll over and keep accumulating until the threshold is met. If your balance never reaches $10.00, no payment is due to you and none will be issued. Amounts below the threshold are not a debt, are not held on your behalf as your property, and you waive any claim to them. If you leave the program, your account is closed or terminated, or the program is discontinued, any pending balance under $10.00 is forfeited.

Payout schedule and method. Payout runs happen on the last calendar day of each month. Eligible balances of $10.00 or more are transferred to the Stripe payout account you connected; transfers typically settle within a few business days depending on your bank and Stripe. You must complete Stripe’s identity and payout verification before any transfer can be made. If your payout account is missing, incomplete or rejected, your balance stays pending until you fix it. Balances that remain unclaimed because a payout account was never completed for twelve months may be forfeited.

Adjustments, taxes and changes. We may reverse or deduct commissions tied to refunded, disputed or fraudulent payments, including after payout. You are an independent participant, not an employee, agent or partner, and you are solely responsible for any taxes on what you earn; tax forms may be required before payment. We may change the commission rate, the threshold, the schedule, or end the program at any time, with commissions already earned before the change honoured under the terms in effect when they were earned.

12. Ending the agreement

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end accounts that breach these terms. Sections about your content, disclaimers and liability survive termination.

13. Changes and contact

If we update these terms we will change the date above and, for material changes, notify account holders by email. Questions go to AvidanSmith@IntentionallyFormed.com.
